The motorway connecting Brisbane airport to the Gold Coast is renowned as being very efficient. However, the time taken to get from Brisbane airport to the Gold Coast does vary depending on the time of day. The standard time taken is usually around 70 minutes either way, although peak hour times can often take longer.

Peak Hour Travel Time:

  • Airport to Gold Coast – between 65 and 90 minutes
  • Gold Coast to airport – between 70 and 110 minutes

Off Peak Travel Time:

  • Airport to Gold Coast – between 60 and 75 minutes
  • Gold Coast to airport – between 60 and 75 minutes

Airport Pick up and Information

Collection from the Brisbane airport is possible from both the international and domestic terminals. At the international terminal, we will collect you from the level 2 arrivals road, directly in front of the terminal. Here, you will also have access to disability spaces, where necessary. If you need to be dropped off, we will do so on the level 4 departures road, also directly in front of the terminal.

For pick-ups and drop offs at the domestic terminal, we use the designated space on the ground level, directly in front of the terminal. For security reasons, passengers must be ready for immediate collection in these areas. In this area, there are six spaces assigned for disabled passengers. Both of Brisbane’s terminals offer outstanding facilities. These include free Wi-Fi, retail and hospitality facilities, nearby accommodation and luggage lockers. The lockers are slightly off-site, but you can access them by catching the orange T-Bus.
