Castle Hill is a little over 40 kilometres to the north west of Sydney Airport, which means getting from one destination to the other can take a while on public transport. So what are your other options? There are taxis, but they often come with a wait of their own. Taxi ranks fill quickly at Sydney Airport, and the queue can be quite long. It is Australia’s largest airport, after all! You could hire a car, but that is expensive, and it can come with a whole host of navigational challenges. And let’s not get into parking! The best option is a private transfer with Hughes. At Hughes, we operate door to door services with professional chauffeurs, at any time of day or night. So no matter when your flight arrives, you can have a chauffeur in a luxury vehicle waiting for you. The best part: our prices are on par with most alternatives, and we offer fixed prices too.

If you’ve not travelled through the greater Sydney region before, you may be wondering what your journey will entail. Luckily, we can help you with that. Our drivers are trained professionals, with years of local experience. They’ve observed a few handy tips over the years, which we’ve collected below.
Everyone needs to know how long the trip will take before they leave; it’s one of the most important aspects of trip planning. In our experience, the forty kilometre journey from Sydney Airport to Castle Hill takes an average of 50 minutes. But if you’re travelling during peak hour, that could change things. Fortunately, our chauffeurs know Sydney’s traffic conditions better than anyone, and they know the available better still. If you’re caught out in traffic, you can expect a slightly longer journey of around 55-60 minutes.
To cater for the great number of tourists that pass through Sydney Airport every year, it has expanded to include three terminals. There are two domestic terminals, each with dedicated departure and arrival levels. And then there’s the international terminal, which is laid out in a similar fashion. All three terminals in the Sydney Airport precinct are close to each other, and even closer to a whole host of parking, waiting, pick up, and drop off spaces. There are kerbside spaces, offsite spaces, parking spaces, and waiting areas, all within just a few hundred metres of the terminals. Inside the terminals there’s more still, with shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities, as well as free Wi-Fi throughout. Needless to say, you won’t be bored!
Castle Hill sits about thirty kilometres north west of the Sydney CBD, and if you’d like to get between the two we can help. Our drivers operate across the entire Sydney area, so you can see the sights of Castle Hill and its surrounds without having to worry about transport. Castle Hill houses some of the area’s cultural attractions, so it’s well worth a look. You can see heritage listed buildings and local landmarks – Castle Hill House (circa 1844) on Old Northern Road & The public school (1879), and the Old Northern Road, which was a transport landmark in its time. Best of all, you can see it in the comfort of a Hughes airport transfer.
