Journey travel times

Travel times from Perth Airport to Belmont can change depending on the time you are travelling. The standard time is between 8 to 10 minutes and can build up to 12 minutes during peak hours, or drop to only 7 minutes in off-peak hours. In the other direction from Belmont to the Perth Airport, times range from seven to nine minutes.

Perth airport – useful guide

Perth’s airport is made up of four terminals for both domestic and international flights: Terminal 1 which mainly serves international flights; Terminal 2 which only deals with domestic flights; and Terminals 3 and 4 which welcome Australia’s own Qantas and Jetstar.

Depending on how long you’ll spend at the airport, there are different parking options available. Long-Term Parking and Short-Term Parking are available in all 4 terminals, Fast Track Business Parking is available in Terminals 3 and 4, as well as Regional Term Parking for those travelling with airlines such as Skippers or Cobham. There is also an outdoor long-term car park which is only a five-minute bus ride with the free shuttle bus service, or a 10-minute walk to the terminal.

For pickup and drop-off, you can either park for one hour for free in the Long-Term Car Park and then head to an immediate pick up, or pay $10 for 4 hours in the Long-Term Car Park. There is also an Express Pickup and Drop at Terminal 2 where you are allowed to stay up to 5 minutes.

While waiting at the airport, you will be happy to know that all public areas and gate lounges are covered by free Wi-Fi. Furthermore, the airport has a large range of excellent facilities such as duty-free shopping, restaurants, cafes, postal services, foreign exchange, ATMs, printing services, and medical services. If you are travelling with children, you can take them to the children’s play area to burn some energy. If you’re feeling tired, there’s also sleeping pods at Terminal 1 for a quick nap.
