Melbourne Airport: Finding your way around before you leave to go to Swan Hill

One of Australia’s busiest, with four separate terminals at Tullamarine just to cater for the volume of travellers passing through. That doesn’t mean it’s hard to get around, though. Each terminal is dedicated to a unique service. There’s a terminal for international flights, one for Qantas flights, one for virgin and regional express flights, and another dedicated to budget domestic carriers. As a result, getting to and from your flight is easy! Luckily, it’s also easy to get from your Melbourne Airport terminal, to your Swan Hill transfer. When you touch down, our drivers will be waiting for you in one of the nearby collection zones.

Swan Hill: What to do and see before you go back to Melbourne Airport?

Swan Hill and an iconic feature of Regional Victoria, and it’s located on the Murray River about 340km north west of the city. The Murray River road bridge is heritage listed, which denotes its historical significance in the region. Swan Hill took off in the 1850s when a riverside wharf was constructed, at the height of transport along the Murray River. The best part is that many remnants of that time stand in excellent condition today. In a nod to the River’s abiding influence on the area, there are still river cruises you can book. If land-based activities are more your speed, the area has winery tours, regional art galleries, and even a pioneer village to keep you occupied. Whichever attraction you choose, you can rest assured that Hughes has your transport needs covered.
