Gold Coast Airport
Gold Coast Airport is an international and domestic airport, situated roughly 90 kilometres from the state’s capital, Brisbane. Gold Coast Airport is the main portal servicing Queensland’s southern end. This well-appointed airport has all the basic necessities and more. Pick up and drop off zones are easily located upon arrival as well as ample disabled parking bays. For those driving, there are three car parks to choose from:
- Premium Covered Parking, a short walk from the terminal.
- Short-Term Terminal Parking, charged at an hourly rate.
- Long-Term Parking, which can be booked online.
For guests who wish to see their loved ones off, there is free parking for up to 60 minutes, located inside the long-term car park. For travellers catching public transport, you will need to look out for the 777-bus line, which will take you into Surfers Paradise. With a Hughes transfer, however, your experience will be totally hassle-free as your driver will pick you up from inside the terminal upon arrival and drop you off at the terminal doors when you return.
