Despite Darwin being the smallest of Australia’s 8 capital cities, your journey may still be affected during peak hour periods. The average travel time between Darwin CBD and the Airport is around 15 minutes if travelling by car. Public Transport is also available, with a public bus service that runs from the CBD, however, this is not direct. Travellers will need to take route 10 from the CBD and get off at the Casuarina interchange. Once there you will go to bay D, take route 3 and get off at the Charles Eaton Drive bus stop. From there it is a well-signed 8-minute walk to the Airport.

  • City to airport – between 12 and 25 minutes
