Cairns Airport is a hub of activity which sees direct flights to 10 international destinations and 35 domestic locations. The airport is divided into two passenger terminals located 200 meters from each other, for ease of navigation.

Terminal 1 is the international terminal and Terminal 2 is for all domestic flights. Options for onsite parking include the T1 budget car park and T2 uncovered car park, which also offers 10 minutes of free parking. T2 covered car park offers shaded parking and larger car spaces at a slightly higher premium. Pick-up and drop-off bays are strictly no waiting zone and are located directly in front of each terminal for express collection. The best feature of Cairns airport is its location, we highly recommend opting for a window seat to make the most of the captivating ocean and rainforest views upon take-off and landing when transiting via Cairns Airport.
