Movie World is on the northern side of the Gold Coast, which places it about 68 km from the Brisbane airport. But, as with all travel in a capital city, the time it takes depends on the traffic. On average this journey will take 50 minutes. Brisbane peak hour traffic normally goes from about 4 pm to 6 pm – although that can vary.
