Getting from Brisbane airport to Deception Bay generally doesn’t take long
Although Deception Bay lies some way outside of Brisbane, the region infrastructure means that the trip isn’t too long. Getting there is simply a matter of following the Gateway Motorway onto the Bruce Highway. From there, you just need to continue north until you reach the right exit. Normally, in our experience, that takes 40 to 45 minutes – that is, if there’s average traffic. If there’s a fair bit of traffic, the trip might be around 55 minutes. But by the same token, if there’s no traffic you can expect an easy journey of just half an hour. In any case, the trip rarely takes more than an hour, and that’ll be time spent in the comfort of a luxury car!

The only difference is that the arrivals road is on level two of the terminal.
