Here’s how long it takes to get from Brisbane airport to Coolum

Working out accurate travel times can be tricky. Fortunately, we have the experience to offer you a few useful timeframes for your trip. Generally, the drive from Coolum to Brisbane airport, and vice versa, takes about an hour and a half. However, on some days – often during school holidays – the traffic can increase. If that’s the case, the duration of your trip could increase a little to about 100 minutes. If there’s not much traffic, though, you’re looking at a journey of just 80 minutes. Considering how far Coolum feels from the big city lifestyle, we think that’s a worthwhile trip!

Peak Hour Travel Time:

  • Airport to Gold Coast – between 65 and 90 minutes
  • Gold Coast to airport – between 70 and 110 minutes

Off Peak Travel Time:
