Journey: Brisbane Airport To Buderim

Buderim sits to the north of Brisbane, which places it about 91km from Brisbane Airport and about 95km from the Brisbane city centre. To get from one to the other, you can travel by bus, hire car, train, or shuttle, but the best choice is a chauffeured transfer from Hughes. Buses and trains are affordable options, most of the time, but they can be slow over long distances. Add in frequent stops and occasional delays, and you could be looking at a trip of some hours. Hire cars are quicker, but they still take time to collect, and they’re expensive. You have to pay the hire fee, as well as fuel costs, and you’re left with the task of navigating in an unfamiliar area. With Hughes, you get direct and private transfers, without any stops, and you don’t need to raise a finger. You can book online, and sit back while your chauffeur drives you from Brisbane Airport to Buderim in comfort.

This is how long it takes

On average, the trip from Brisbane Airport to Buderim takes 70 minutes. Luckily, Brisbane Airport sits beside the motorway that feeds directly into the Bruce Highway and north up to Buderim. That means that when you get into your transfer at the airport, you’re only a short drive onto the highway that will take you to your destination. Of course, that doesn’t mean the drive is immune to traffic. Brisbane has over two million residents, and many of them live in the region’s northern reaches. That means the afternoon rush can see thousands of commuters take to the Bruce Highway at the same time. When that happens, you should prepare for a slight delay, with the average trip taking 75 minutes. On the other side of the equation, you can beat the traffic altogether by travelling off peak for an average duration of 65 minutes.

This is how to find your ride

When you arrive in Brisbane Airport you will find yourself in one of two terminals: the domestic, and the international. Both are well-established and well set out, with collection points along the kerbside directly adjacent to the terminals. In the domestic terminal, the collection space also serves as a drop off point and sits parallel to the terminal. In the international terminal, there are separate levels for departures and arrivals, but both lie adjacent to the terminal for easy access. There are also disabled access zones in both terminals. When you arrive, we will be ready and waiting so you simply need to step out of the terminal and into the comfort of your chosen premium or luxury vehicle.

This is what there is to see in Buderim

Buderim is home to a number of attractions, and it forms one of the many townships that are scattered across Queensland’s stunning Sunshine Coast. Perhaps the most famous of Buderim’s features is its ginger factory, which produces everything from ginger cordial to sweets. It also has a number of nearby strawberry farms, where you can go strawberry picking for your own choice in produce. Only a stone’s throw from there are the iconic beaches of the Sunshine Coast, with swimming, fishing, surfing, dining, and retail options all within walking distance of each other. To see it all, we would recommend reliable transport in the form of a Hughes transfer. Just let us know where you want to go, and we will take you there.
