I just loaded msql 2.x on a Cobalt server and was trying to get the path parameters to working right. When in a telnet session, I want to be able to type (for example) :

msqldump database > database.bkup

However, it only seems to work when I type:

/usr/local/Hughes/bin/msqldump database > database.bkup

I know this should be a simple fix - can anyone tell me where I need to go to set the path info?
