mSQL 2.0.9 released!
--------------------

While Hughes Technologies is about to release the development three of
mSQL 2.1, version 2.0 continues to receive timely bug fixes and
enhancements, showing their commitment to mSQL user base. Keep up the
good work, Bambi et al!

The MsqlTool
------------

Chris Parker released an alpha version of what will be a professional
shareware tool for mSQL administration. Take a look at it on CHP
Software web site.

New Tools Section
-----------------

The mSQL PC Home Page is starting a new section featuring tools you can
use to administer or query mSQL databases. There's a mix of tools
written for standard APIs (like Perl DBI and Java JDBC) that could be
used with any database on any plataform and tools written specifically
for mSQL, some of then OS specific and displaying nice GUIs.

If you know of any freeware or shareware tool that could help
administration of mSQL database, please mail me.

As some visitors noted, the Windows and OS/2 Status sections are
outdated. The mSQL PC Home Page is mantained as a personal effort, on
spare time, and I do not earn any money from the site or from mSQL
(except some pennies from Amazon Books), so I have to make compromises.

I am very glad to receive visitors feedback, both congratulations and
complains, and I'll do my best to keep the site updated and to add new
usefull info.

In any case, the Downloads and Tutorials sections are well up-to-date so
visitors can easily find mSQL ports, mSQL libraries and documentation
for the novice user and developer.

PS: The link to CHP is broken (my fault), but it will be corrected
tonight. My sincere apologizes.
