Greetings msql users

We have just started trying to use mSQL 2.0 Release on a Linux box, all
installed OK, but I wanted to know...

- what changes do I have to make to system files, such as etc/services, if any?

Specifically, testing the 'bookmarks' database example (via w3-msql) that
comes with the installation, I get:

Error : Can't connect to local MSQL server

Error at line 15

Although I have msql2d running as a process, the msql2.sock file is
currently empty.

Any help will be much appreciated.
