Message-Id: <335D0C63.34B6@force.de> Date: Tue, 22 Apr 1997 21:07:15 +0200 From: Robert Wieser <rowi@force.de> Subject: [mSQL] Beginners question to w3-msqlHi Folks,
I'm new to MSQL and want to build up a small
Stock database using w3-msql.
I'm seaching for an example Application/Code of
w3-msql, which includes global searches and
also a way to display different fields in a single
line.
I've set up the query page (At the moment for one
field, because I don't know how to do a query over
all table-entries) and I'm wondering how to get out
different fields from the database.
Examle:
Table entrys are: Name, Adress, Country (all CHAR[255])
and I want to search global and get the results in my Webpage
with: Name Adress Country (and this in ONE single line)
The example bookmarks_DB didn't helped me out...
(For thast specific problems, but I think its a great database for
my special needs)
Could anyone please give me a brief introduction in how to do that?
I've heard about pearl_msql, do I need It?
At the moment I'm using only the embedded lite language in my
web-pages.
Thanks a lot!
Robert
