Not null just means that the field must have a value - ie not be empty.

My choice for msql interface is PHP (www.vex.net/php). It's a
programming language that is embedded in HTML files and can do a lot
more than just interfacing to msql (and other) database packages.

There's a number of other msql interface packages listed in the msql
FAQ - have a look if you prefer something based on Perl, Tcl/TK,
Python, etc etc.

That aside, what's this about you/your ISP pinching our Aussie koala as
the site name and emblem ;-(
