Subject: [mSQL] authentication ALMOST working now..
Message-Id: <2DF748532E@smtp.dancooks.com>

Now that someone was nice and gave me that apache util_script.c patch
authentication is working about 90%

I just wanted to ask a question or two

if I want to access the management subsystem I make a call to

www.server.com/cgi-bin/w3-auth

However, if I want to access a protected page I still call it via
 /cgi-bin/w3-msq/path/to/page.html

and in the directory of the page I create a .w3-auth file..

At least this is the method that I have been trying..but everytime I
try to access a protected page in this manner..after running through
auth.c and making sure my uname/passwd were correct..I get a 500
Internal Server error...and apache is griping about "Premature end of
script headers" am I still doing something wrong? I am using apache
1.2beta1

Thanks for everyones help so far..I am actually starting to w3-auth
hacked out.

Jason
