Subject: [mSQL] good/bad install? Running tests and command line operation

Configuration is at end before the sig.
>From looking at the following have I installed msql correctly?
I have been reading a book regarding sql and it shows commands entered from
a prompt. How do I do that?
Plus if you can answer the questions embedded below in my results that would
be great. Configuration is at the end.

When I fire up the server I get the error shown (Fig 1). When I was
building msql I accepted the default at the following question
Directory for PID file? [/var/adm]

After running setup I edited the site.mm file so the variable looked like
this as recommended in the faq
EXTRA_LIB=

 When I executed the command
brie.com$ /usr/dom/xbrie/brian/Minerva/bin/msqladmin create test

I received the response
Database "test" created.

Does this mean an empty table "test" has been created or is this a database
that comprises a set of tables? I looked at the next test in the readme
file. The problem is I don't see any file named sample.msql and there is no
tests directory. Did I miss something? The command will not work obviously.

brie.com$ /usr/dom/xbrie/brian/Minerva/bin/msql test < sample.msql

Thanks,
Brian
