Subject: [mSQL] Need so advice on replicating database - Please advise
Date: Wed, 9 Apr 1997 17:40:18 -0400

I am running MSQL2 beta 5 on a linux machine, I currently have a database but need to change a field type in one of my tables. I know that I must recreate the table to do this so how can I populate it without reentering all the data by hand. I know that msqldump dumps the info in text file but how can I store the info it dumps and then redirect through msql monitor??
Also is there an easier way to modify a tables data type?? Please advise, thanks in advance , Bill
