Subject: [mSQL] FAQ

Greetings everyone,

Sorry to be asking a FAQ, but is there a FAQ for mSQL or this list? I
looked on the mSQL web pages but couldn't find mention of one.

I have searched the list archives and couldn't find any references to
this, so here goes. I apologize if this has already been discussed. Is it
possible to use mSQL as a stand-alone database, starting and closing the
engine at run time? Is it possible to connect to an mSQL database other
than through UNIX sockets or TCP/IP? What I am looking for is a way to
link in the database engine to a C program to be used on a web page. My
ISP has mSQL running but it is only available to commercial customers
paying $100/month, which I am not. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Ben
