Subject: [mSQL] w3-auth

The docs on w3-auth are a little skimpy, but I gather that permissions
to various msql db's thru the web can be configured by running w3-auth
thru the web.

When I try to run it, I'm prompted for a usrid/passwd- the source looks
like there is some sort of environmental variable it's looking for...?

Another post to this list seemed to indicate that I need to modify the
access.conf file for the web server?...

So... I have msql up and running- and it's great- loads of fun- Also
using w3-msql for web stuff.. But- how does w3-admin work- How can I
control access and write permissions thru the web?

(I understand the .acl file syntax, but don't understand how that
functions with w3-auth....)

Here's the system info:

Solaris 2.5.1
sparc
msql 2.0.5 b
apache 1.2b

(P.S. Any good SQL resources on the Web for writing more advanced apps?)

Thanks
