I have GORTA working. Here are my steps
1. Build and install msql-1.0.16 (GORTA driver does not support msql-2.0)
2. Run msqld (edit msql.acl to allow other machines than localhost to
have access to your database)
3. Create a database with msqladmin
4. Install the winmsql.dll in c:\windows\system or whatever your system
directory is.
5. Install msql.ini in c:\windows and edit it to suit your needs
(host port etc.)
6. Install the GORTA Driver from the install disk. It also install odbc.dll and
odbcinst.dll, so make a backup if you want to keep yours. Install a new
Data Source Name.
7. Overwrite c:\windows\system\gorta.dll with the newest version (2.10.0.6).
8. Read the GORTA and th mSQL FAQ for further information.
