Subject: [mSQL] dbf2pg/dbf2msql to give away
Message-Id: <Pine.HPP.3.95.970331185750.20259A-100000@elektron.et.tudelft.nl>

Hi,

I am the author of dbf2sql (which builds into dbf2msql and dbf2pg), and I
want someone to take over. I just don't have the time to improve it and
incorporate bugs-fixes (and bugs :), and I think that's a shame, cos there
are many cool things that could be added (there's also one or two bugs in
the dbf-handling code).

So, anybody willing to take over? I would prefer somebody who is using
both mSQL and PostgreSQL, cos I'd like it when it keeps supporting more
than one server. Also, support for mysql could be added (there is a
dbf2mysql based on v1.04 of dbf2msql).

Some time back somebody mailed me that he added/was adding code for a
pg2dbf. I accidentally deleted my mailbox this weekend, and don't have his
e-mail address anymore. Could that somebody also please drop me a note? It
would be cool to have this...

Maarten
