Message-Id: <m0vpra0-00048oC@planet> From: alvin@planet.fef.com (Alvin Oga) Subject: [mSQL] Multiple Admin_user in msql.conf Date: Thu, 30 Jan 1997 00:10:44 -0800 (PST)Hi all
Given, that Admin_User is defined in msql.conf which says only that user
can create/delete databases and shutdown msqld....
I have defined in msql.conf: Admin_User = root,msql,WebMaster
but, only root is able to successfully run the test scripts
( tests/rtest and tests/killer )
since root was the only user that was able to delete/create databases
So far, on my linux-2.0.27 w/ apache-1.2b6 w/ msql2.0b3 I can only get
"root" to successfully create/delete databases...so the test scripts fails
as_root: bin/msqladmin create foo works...
as_msql: bin/msqladmin create foo2 fails...
Does anybody have multiple Admin_Users defined where they all can run
the test scripts ?
thanx
alvin
