Date: Wed, 29 Jan 1997 09:50:47 -0800 (PST) From: Chris Ochs <chris@valleynet.net> Subject: [mSQL] 1.0.16 not freeing memory Message-Id: <Pine.BSI.3.95.970129094654.26329A-100000@web1.valley-internet.com>We are running 1.0.16 on BSD/OS 2.1. Whenever I do a select on any
database that has over a thousand records or so msql grabs the same amount
of memory that the physical database file actually uses on disk, and when
the query is done, it never releases the memory. I saw this bug mentioned
in the FAQ, but at least on our system it shows up in such small databases
that it makes msql unusable.
Are there any patches for this?
Chris
