Subject: [mSQL] first time setup -- yacc overflow

hello everyone!

This is my situation. I am doing a first time setup. Here are the system
details.

uname -a
OSF1 earth.pca.state.mn.us V3.2 148 alpha

# ./msqladmin version

Version Details :-

        msqladmin version 2.0 Beta 3
mSQL server version 2.0 Beta 3
        mSQL protocol version 22
mSQL connection Localhost via UNIX socket
        Target platform OSF1-V3.2-alpha

Configuration Details :-

        Default config file /usr/local/Hughes/msql.conf
        TCP socket 1114
        UNIX socket /usr/local/Hughes/msql2.sock
        mSQL user msql
        Admin user root
        Install directory /usr/local/Hughes
        PID file location /usr/local/Hughes/msql2d.pid

When I run
# ./msql2d

Mini SQL Version 2.0 Beta 3
Copyright (c) 1994-96 Hughes Technologies

Loading configuration from '/usr/local/Hughes/msql.conf'.
Server process reconfigured to accept 214 connections.
Server running as user 'msql'.
This snapshot release expires in 65 days.

No ACL file. Using global read/write access.

And then it just sits. I can hit a control-C and it will do a shutdown. But
other than that my telnet session is dead.

I know that mSQL is running. I did a

# telnet earth 1114
Trying 156.98.19.100...
Connected to earth.pca.state.mn.us.
Escape character is '^]'.
0:22:2.0 Beta 3

A ps -e will bring up...
30111 ttyp1 IW + 0:00.04 ./msql2d

But then also if I open up a second telnet window and then I try to set up
the www stuff I get the following...
# ./setup_www

Parse Error! - yacc stack overflow near ")"

Error at line 313

I am still (re)reading the documentation so I can't be sure that I have not
missed it. But I would like to know how I should run mSQL so that it keeps
running outside of my telnet session. I would also like to know what is
going on with this yacc overflow error.

Advance thanks for any suggestions, suggested reading..... --ja
