Message-Id: <32E85EF8.2AFF@toonboom.com> Date: Fri, 24 Jan 1997 02:04:24 -0500 From: Alexandre Rousseau <alexr@toonboom.com> Subject: [mSQL] mSQL 1.XXXX: How do I perform joins then ???Hello.
I have broken down my data requirements into 10 to 11 single-index
databases. There will be many many-to-many relationships (!!) in my sets
and I would much rather prefer not having to nest my loops n-permutation
levels deep.
I have read in a few posts to this list that version 1.XXXX's join
feature is broken or downright inefficient (someone mentionned hours !).
Can anyone tell me what are my options ? Later versions (any caveats)
perhaps ? Other ways of joining data ? Early retirement ? Other low-cost
solutions that can run on Linux and IRIX ?
Thanks in advance,
Alexandre Rousseau.
