I admit, those of you out there that know Perl could probably build an
application quickly. I find that these type of people can develop an
application quickly with just about any product or language. One of the
biggest benefits I have seen with using PHP is that I am writing HTML code
with PHP mixed in. This seems more logical than writing PERL/CGI code with
HTML (well sort of) text strings mixed in.

I know that future enhancements of the current project will include
specialized CGI scripts, java, etc (that is the name of the game).
