Nice try :)
I have made it a policy to only include details about mSQL in the FAQ.
I consider w3-mSQL to be a value added package that is beyond the
scope of the FAQ. If I was to add explicit details about this then I'd
also have to add stuff about Lite, and PHP and MsqlPerl and ODBC and
... and ... and ..........
This would blow out the FAQ to several megabytes (its already 170k in
its text only form). I don't have the time to chase up explicit
details about value added packages - I barely have the time to update
the FAQ (hence the four month delay between version 1.22 and 1.23/4).
The correct forum for discussions of value added packages is this
mailing list.
Sorry to disappoint you but that is my decision and at the present
moment it is final.
And before anyone jumps on their soap box and starts complaining about
me not supporting the package correctly just remember that I do this
out of the goodness (foolishness) of my own heart. I'm not connected
with Hughes Technologies in any way, shape or form. (I apologise to
long time members of the list for that rant but newer members need to
be informed now and again - I might just put an entry in the FAQ too
:)
All that not withstanding, if someone else were to write a FAQ
submission on a value added package or any other topic not covered in
the FAQ and send it to me I'd be perfectly happy to include it in the
FAQ. Use the current FAQ as an example of how to phrase and format the
entry. It doesn't have to be written in HTML - text is fine.
My other policy is that the FAQ belongs to the mSQL community - I just
maintain it. If you want to add/remove/correct and FAQ entries, then
by all means drop me a line.
Now, could someone please answer this poor fellow's question?
Regards
Peter

The poor fellow thanks for your null help, Peter. :-))
Sorry, but I had even noticed that Peter something had written the FAQ.
Please take my apologies.
And I am sincerely grateful to those who sincerely have lent me a hand.
Thanks to all of you in the msql list.
