Message-Id: <01BBFC7D.532277E0@josephn> From: Joseph Norris <josephn@dns.mcoe.k12.ca.us> Subject: [mSQL] startup of msql server problem Date: Tue, 7 Jan 1997 09:29:46 -0800Hi all,
Just upgraded to redhat 4.0 linux.....nightmare..... but we made it through it, with one exception.
When I run msqld I get the following message:
mSQL Server 1.0.16 starting ...
Couldn't open PID file: No such file or directory
Can anyone enlighten me on this and how I might fix it? Thanks ever so much. joseph
