Hi
The answer lies in the database structure as ODBC perceives it, ODBC
requires that a table structure have a primary key to use as an index .
You also should (to make your life easier) make it the first field in the table,
this way you can make use of the table structure while using DAO

I will be providing a few example programs at my ftp site in a day or two
you can try them out and read the code that makes it work

So, I have also a user problem.

Running mSQL 1.0.16 under OS/2 (patch levels C, D and E), if I try msql
console or w3-msql under OS/2 everything works fine. If I use msqlwin7
under Windows for Workgroups (connecting to the same mSQL server), so
good.

But If I try msqlui under Windows for Workgroups (that is, using the
16-bit ODBC driver gorta), I also can't update any thing: no inserts and
no deletes also.
