I don't want to suggest products on this line, but I have used Mac quite
extensively and apart from UNIX and Macintosh, all my needs are met (no
slap against PC's intended).
But Mac sorely lacks in UNIX-type file control and this really hinders
anything like Msql from being ported to Macintosh. I am not sure of
MacLinux is out yet (it was having some problems a way back), but there
are other commercials unix versions out there.
But if you are looking for a quality sql product for Macintosh, get your
hands on Butler SQL. You MAY be able to find a shareware (unregistered)
version on Infomac, but it is very large (at least 11 MB compressed). But
it is so powerful and worth at least looking at.
