From: lawst@discoveryweb.com (Steve Lawrence) Subject: [mSQL] Auto primary key generator patch Date: Mon, 16 Sep 1996 11:57:53 -0600 Message-Id: <19960916175651.AAA24379@steve.discoveryweb.com>Hello All!
this may be a stupid question, but I tried to read from the instructions
supplied with the patch but could not find any info on how to Call Apon
this auto key patch.
I have a field in my database which is an int type, and it is a primary
key.
I tried to enter a record with this field as null, but get the error that
the field cannot contain null characters.
Here is how I installed it:
1: d/l and extract msql 1.0.13
2: d/l and extract the features_msql-1_0.16 patch to the src directory
3: run patch < features_msql-1_0.16
4: compile and install msql
Is there a site with instructions on this patch?
Thanks in advance!
