Two things:

The code is at http://deimos.marsweb.com/~hans/

It is now no longer supported. I have found what I am looking for, most
likely and it is way better than my little chat room. It is a bandwidth
friendly irc chat that works through a web browser, too (*and irc*).
Only drawback is the fact that it has to have a java capable browser to
run. But that's not too big a deal, as it can also be used with an irc
client...

For those of you who are also interested in this (it really is way
better than anything I could ever do), go to www.webmaster.com for
details. The 100 user system is only $100, 1000 users for only $249.
