make sure to run some sort of ip filtering...i use danny boulet's ipfirewall with great success, though you may not want to block an address or domain because of one hacker.

Subject: [mSQL] Monitoring Attempted Hacks to Msql?

Hi everyone.

Does Msql record all attempts to access a database?

That is, if someone trys to access a database remotely, and can't
because of msql.acl permissions, does it get recorded somewhere?

I have recently been watching someone try to hack my system via the
web, and was worried that they might try to enter via the msql
server.

Any advice would be appreciated!
