Subject: [mSQL] question about ranlib and SCO

                Hi all !
    
        I'm trying to install mSQL on SCO UNIX.
          But, the command (in the Makefile.full) :ranlib xxxxx.a doesn't work
           I have the message
        ranlib: xxxxx.a is not an x.out archive
        *** Error code 1

        stop.
        *** Error code 1

        stop.
        ...

        when I do ranlib xxxxx.a I only have the message
        ranlib: xxxxx.a is not an x.out archive
        if I put in commentary the command
        I don't have any error message . I don't understand
         Is ranlib necessary?
        I can make it run without doing ranlib(for a little example),
        but I don't know if the ranlib is important to mSQL.
