My personnal opinion: you are trying to do CGI programming
with w3-msql, which is just a simple msql front-end.
Suggestion: get yourself PHP/FI on www.vex.net/php/
and do what you want without the need to learn how to CGI program.
The doc looks daunting at first but it's just because it is much much
more complete (no undocumented features ). I switched from w3-msql
to PHP by just using the msql support from PHP at first, and then
moving to other functions (such as time() ).
